MooTools Content Slider Update - Numbered Nav

So, here we are again... yet another content slider update!  By far, the most requested addition I have received is a way to 'jump' to other slides, along with a navigation for it.  I'm actually going to take that one step further, and show you how to accomplish that with a dynamically created navigation list!

Mootools Div Slider With Basic Controls

After posting my last Mootools tutorial, I received a couple of friendly comments asking for a version with some simple controls.  That seemed like a great/useful request, especially given the fact that I wasn't sure if anyone was reading these posts!  It's been a super hectic week here, but I finally managed to get around to coding it up this weekend... Hopefully you will enjoy this and/or find it of use!

Mootools Content Slider With Intervals

To celebrate the official release of MooTools 1.2, I decided to post a quick tutorial on making a timed 'content slider' with the new version.  I needed to create one of these for a client this afternoon, so I coded one up from scratch... and I thought it might be useful to someone else needing to do something similar.  There may be a better method to accomplish this, so if you have one please share with us!

Expression Engine site up!

After a VERY interesting weekend playing with Expression Engine, the site is back up – and running on it.  It's not quite finished yet, so you'll notice things may look a little screwy for the next few days.  (Comments are disabled, prev/next links aren't there, pagination isn't turned on, etc... just little stuff, mainly.)

I'll definitely post a (highly positive) write-up later this week about all of this, but I've got a busy schedule for the next few days!

Lab Experiment 1 - Expression Engine

Hello, if anyone is reading!  Just making a quick post to let you all know I'm doing some experimenting this weekend... and the site will likely be down today and tomorrow.

I'm pullin' out a fresh bag of espresso beans and playing with Expression Engine over the weekend, if you must know.  Yes, this site is currently hand-coded... and I'm quite proud of that fact.  I honestly think my latest CMS version is miles ahead most of the other ones out there.  However, I've had some really cool project requests that would require me to use Expression Engine, and it seems very nice... so I'm going to attempt porting my site over into it over the weekend.  (If it works as well as I'm currently thinking, I may start doing most of my sites with it!  Yes, it really is that good...)
